چکیده
Production and operations management (POM) uses learning curve (LC) models to determine the length of training sessions for new workers predicting future task performance. Empirically validated LC parameters provide managers with quantitative information on effects presumed factors behind process. Previous studies considered compose cognitive motor curves. Another widely acknowledged but only recently parameterized phenomenon in POM field is interference, which assumes some loss or experience could occur over a session. This paper takes logical step this line research by developing an interference-adjusted power model, composite elements. accounts decay memory traces from repetitions measure residual (interference-adjusted) capture these phenomena. Three variants model are developed that assume exponential functions approximate version one. Assembly data representing various forms individual profile have been used test fits models. In addition those models, four potential literature were selected comparison purposes. The results show very well profile. findings highlight confluence three phenomena learning, component (cognitive/motor) plateauing.

Learning redundant motor tasks with and without overlapping dimensions: facilitation and interference effects.
Prior learning of a motor skill creates motor memories that can facilitate or interfere with learning of new, but related, motor skills. One hypothesis of motor learning posits that for a sensorimotor task with redundant degrees of freedom, the nervous system learns the geometric structure of the task and improves performance by selectively operating within that task space. We tested this hypot...
متن کاملCognitive underpinnings of contextual interference during motor learning.
The reported study examined the cognitive processes underlying contextual interference (CI) in motor learning. This experiment was designed to assess the combined influence of practice schedule (blocked or random) and task similarity (similar or dissimilar) on acquisition and retention performance. Participants (N=60) learned a set of three variations of a timing task according to a similar (90...

متن کاملVoluntary Behavior in Cognitive and Motor Tasks
Many previous treatments of voluntary behavior have viewed intentions as causes of behavior. This has resulted in several dilemmas, including a dilemma concerning the origin of intentions. The present article circumvents traditional dilemmas by treating intentions as constraints that restrict degrees of freedom for behavior. Constraints self-organize as temporary dynamic structures that span th...
